This is just a rant!!!
I design websites, loads of us due but how the Heck do some people think they can get away with shit design! Not that it looks pretty as that is subjective, but just REALLY badly built. For instance I have come across a few sites now that have a secure cert for the browser so people fill in their credit cards on-line, feeling all happy that they cannot be riped off and then the silly sod that has designed it then emails all the details unencrypted to the client!!!! so they can process by hand. This can be done SO much more securly with a little thought. There should be basic standards we should all follow best practice etc.
